This replacement keyboard, including backlight, continues works correctly after I installed it a few days ago.
There were only 3 weeks from placing order to home delivery.
I ran "sudo dmesg | grep galp" to determine that my May 2020 Galago Pro System76 laptop was specifically the galp4 model.
System76.com did not have galp4 keyboards in stock anymore, just a larger component at a higher price. -
Galago pro keyboard
I had ordered this keyboard for galago pro 3, when though this was for one model newer. I sanded the corners just 1/16 inch to get it fit perfectly. The keys feel crisp and every key functions. Would definitely order again, especially at the price.
